She is also the sister of Australian superstar Kylie Minogue and has lived in Kylie's shadow her entire career. She began her career on the Australian talent show Young Talent Time. From there she landed a role in the successful soap opera Home and Away. This led to Dannii following her sister Kylie into the pop charts. Her debut album Love And Kisses, released in 1990, contained five top 40 hits including "Success" and "Jump To The Beat".

Dido Florian Cloud de Bounevialle Armstrong (born December 25, 1971 in London) is a British pop singer who performs under her first name Dido.

She has a brother Rollo Armstrong with whom she often collaborates. She is perhaps best known for her 2001 hit song "Thank You", which was used by the rapper Eminem as the basis for one of his own hit singles, "Stan". "Thank You" was her debut single, taken from the album No Angel, which was the top-selling album of 2001 in the United Kingdom. Her second album, Life For Rent, was released September 30, 2003.

Her song "Here With Me" was used as the theme music for the television programme Roswell.
